Nunamiut Territory: Inland north Alaska.

 

Around 1910, most Nunamiut immigrated into the Mckenzie Delta region of the Northwest Territories and became known as the Uummarmiut. Politically, they are now part of the Inuvialuit. Decades later, a few returned.
